Balwinder Shukla, MSN, FNP-C
As a nurse practitioner in the PACE program, I can provide my participants comprehensive care with integrity, humility, honesty, and compassion, which I expect my family and loved ones to get from their healthcare providers.
Balwinder has been a nurse for over 25 years, with extensive experience in critical care nursing settings, including in large hospital systems, skilled nursing facilities, and at other PACE programs.
Before coming to InnovAge in 2021, Balwinder worked as a nurse in Reno, Nevada and at a skilled nursing facility and large hospital system in Encinitas, California, as well as a primary care provider for San Ysidro Health’s San Diego PACE program. For several years, she was also a charge nurse in a fast-paced medical-surgical nursing unit in India.
Balwinder earned her Master’s in Nursing from California State University and completed her post-graduate work at the Institute of Medical Education and Research in Chandigarh, India.
Balwinder says she’s been happily married for 30 years and blessed with two sons. She loves gardening, cooking plant base foods, traveling with her family and enjoying different cuisine.
