Cara has a strong track record of leading business transformation and creating value through effective change management that considers people and process, as well as technology, to achieve success.She is passionate about using technology to drive innovation and change, especially where it can help keep seniors as healthy as possible and at home. Her initial work in this space started over 20 years ago when she was CIO for Partners Home Care, which led to a 15-year career at Mass General Brigham, where she was CIO for Community Hospitals and Post-Acute.
Prior to joining InnovAge, Cara was most recently senior vice president and chief digital and information officer for South Shore Health, where she was responsible for strategy, implementation, and support of all information systems and technology infrastructure and oversight of the Enterprise Project Management Office. Her many accomplishments at South Shore Health include large technology and change management efforts.
Cara holds a Master’s in healthcare administration from the University of New Hampshire and a Bachelor’s in business administration from Boston College in the School of Management. She also holds a graduate-level certificate from Harvard University for cybersecurity and a certificate from Massachusetts Institute of Technology for innovation and strategy.
