Dustin joined the InnovAge’s human resources team in February 2023 as SVP People Operations and Strategy. Ten months later, he was promoted to Chief People Officer. Dustin brings a wealth of expertise in human resources and strategic operations, and plays a critical role in developing and implementing strategies and programs that help make InnovAge an even better place to work.Dustin is at the forefront of creating a work environment where each InnovAge employee is valued. His pivotal work includes making InnovAge’s HR systems more efficient and user-friendly and ensuring employees receive competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits. Dustin also spearheads new initiatives in Learning & Development and onboarding with a vision to enhance employees’ skills and engagement. He is committed to creating a more dynamic and productive workplace, while aligning with InnovAge’s shared goal of delivering exceptional, participant-centered care.
Before InnovAge, Dustin was the Head of HR at 2nd.MD, a healthcare technology company specializing in real-time medical consultations. His leadership was key in expanding the HR function to support the company's substantial growth in revenue and workforce, leading to its acquisition by Accolade in 2021. Early in his career, Dustin spent time at Memorial Hermann, a leading healthcare system known for its commitment to excellence in patient care and innovation in health solutions. There, he gained invaluable insights into the complexities of healthcare HR, gaining a deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by healthcare professionals.
Dustin earned his bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University, an MBA in Finance from Benedictine University, and a Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) degree from Texas Women’s University
