Dr. Joseph Johnson is board certified in internal medicine. He earned his medical degree at Villanova University and Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his residency training at the University of Colorado with his primary clinic at Denver Health Westside. Johnson served an additional year as the Chief Resident in Quality and Patient Safety at the Denver VA. Johnson founded the DAWN Clinic (Dedicated to Aurora’s Wellness and Needs), a student-run free clinic partnered with the University of Colorado, which cares for uninsured adults in Aurora. He served as the medical director there from 2015-2022.
In his free time, Johnson spends most of his time feeding his wife, children, dog, cat, flock of chickens, and vegetable garden.
