Dr. Stephen Turner is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician with 18 years of experience providing care for older adults.
Turner received his bachelor’s degree and medical doctorate from the University of Virginia and completed a 3-year internship and residency program at the University of Virginia Health System in 2008.
Since then, he has practiced exclusively in the central Virginia area, having joined Blue Ridge PACE in July 2023. Turner has experience in geriatrics, hospital medicine, palliative care, and hospice and is passionate about providing comprehensive and compassionate care to seniors and those who are complex and chronically ill. He joined PACE because the model is designed to provide the most comprehensive care possible to those who need it most.
Turner is the proud parent of two teenagers and enjoys traveling, gardening, skiing, backpacking, and exploring the great outdoors with family and friends.
