Carron Kras, MSN, FNP, BC-C
We often see disparities in healthcare, especially with seniors. I love being able to focus on providing competent, holistic care within my community and give our seniors and their families what they need and deserve to live happier, healthier lives.
Carron earned two bachelor's degrees, the first in Microbiology from the University of Montana, and another in Nursing from Jacksonville University. She completed her education with a Master of Science in Nursing from South University in Savannah, Georgia.
As a spouse of a naval officer, Carron has lived in California, Florida, and Italy. In California, she was a supervisor for a cardiac inpatient unit for Scripps hospital. In Florida, she worked at an inpatient unit as a charge nurse before moving to outpatient radiation oncology. Her spouse’s final move as active duty was to Naples, Italy where she first volunteered as a nurse for the American Red Cross, and then worked in a family and adult gerontology clinic assisting in the care of the retirees and active-duty service members and their families. Upon military retirement, Carron and her spouse made Colorado their home. She started working at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs while continuing to complete her advanced degree. She furthered her experience at Pikes Peak Hospice and at a PACE program, also in Colorado Springs.
Carron and her husband love spending time with their children, hiking, biking, and traveling within the great state of Colorado.
