For our 35th Anniversary, We Celebrate Care by the Numbers
InnovAge is proud to reach an important milestone: 35 years of empowering seniors to age independently in their homes and communities.
As the nation’s largest provider of the Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), based on participants served, PACE has been InnovAge's focus since the company’s founding in 1989. We have grown from a single location in Colorado to 20 locations in six states. InnovAge currently serves over 7,400 enrolled seniors, and throughout our history, served over 25,000 participants.
PACE provides intimately collaborative and highly coordinated care that addresses all aspects of health for older adults who might otherwise turn to nursing homes. This makes InnovAge a vital resource for the seniors and caregivers in the many communities we serve. For participants who have Medicare and Medicaid coverage, all needed care and support comes at no cost.
Through the decades, InnovAge has continued to advance our care model to meet the evolving needs of participants. This includes significant clinical and operational transformations, including new technologies to enhance care, PACE-customized electronic medical records, in-house dental and behavioral health care services, Medicaid enrollment assistance, 24/7 in-home support, after-hours nursing care, and more.
Even after three and a half decades, there are still facts and figures that may come as a surprise to those who don’t realize the comprehensive scope of our services and the life-changing care we provide.

- InnovAge PACE stands for “Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly,” and is an alternative for seniors to living in a nursing home. InnovAge allows participants (enrolled seniors) to remain independent in their own homes and communities.
- InnovAge is the nation's largest provider of PACE, based on participants served.
- Over the past 35 years, 25,000 seniors across the country have benefited from the care and support of InnovAge PACE.
- Most PACE participants are eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid and enjoy PACE benefits, services, and support at little or no cost.
- Every medical need is included with no premiums, co-pays, or deductibles.
- InnovAge PACE has 20 centers throughout the United States.
- We partner with each enrolled senior (“participants”) and their loved ones to develop, implement, and maintain a Personalized Care Plan that includes all medically necessary care.
- Preventive, primary care, and behavioral health services are provided at our centers, as well as transportation, dental and vision care, nutritional meals, recreational therapy, and social engagement.
- Each InnovAge PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) center contains a primary care clinic, adult day rooms for activities, a gym, personal care spaces (showers and restrooms), and areas for private discussion with counselors.
- InnovAge PACE offers comprehensive dental services, critical for overall optimal health.
